Horai BX300: Fictional JDM Sports Car #2

A fictional Flat-6 powered all-wheel-drive sports car from the 90s, inspired by the Subaru SVX and the R32 Skyline GTR.

This project was started in 2020, and shelved for a number of years as I focused on other projects. After creating the RM-X:

I returned to this project and expanded the concept, adding new badging, details, and minor tweaks to the design along with 2 new variants, bringing it up to a level of quality comparable to the RM-X.

Mechanically, the car takes inspiration from the Mitsubishi 3000gt as well, with twin-turbochargers and a host of high-tech features (for the time) such as active aero and rear-wheel steering.

Horai produced and sold US-spec versions of the BX300. However, through a partnership with US manufacturer Emery, a "captive import" model known as the Emery Legatus was also offered to American buyers, identical to its Japanese counterpart aside from some minor styling changes.
