Kineto RM-X: Fictional JDM Sports Car

A fictional car inspired by the Honda NSX and the Mazda RX7 FD3S, with additional styling influences from cars like the Mitsubishi FTO, Nissan 300ZX, C5 Corvette & the Jaguar XJR-15

Envisioned as a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive performance car powered by a twin-turbocharged 3-rotor making 240 horsepower, the RM-X was built to go toe-to-toe with the prestigious European exotics of the time.

In the United States it was sold under Kineto’s luxury branch “Intresta” (the Intresta RM-X), as Americans had come to associate Kineto with affordable economy cars. In all other markets, though, it was sold as the “Kineto RM-X”
